Expansion of the XEEN CF line-up with the new 135mm T2.2 Thursday25thAugust2022, Seoul, South Korea: Samyang Optics (CEO Hwang Choong-hyun) adds the new 135mm focal length to its existing XEEN CF line-up. The XEEN CF line-up now comprises 6 of the most-used focal lengths: 16mm T2.6, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5, 85mm T1.5, and NEW 135mm T2.2. Fast T-stop values, beloved image quality, and enhanced user-friendly features come in different mounts such as PL, Canon EF, and Sony E, with full frame coverage.  Small and lightweight lens, a perfect fit for the recent video filming trend The XEEN CF cine prime lens line-up was first introduced in September 2019. Reflecting the 'compact', and 'lightweight' video equipment trend along with the outstanding definition, the XEEN CF is the first full-frame cinema lens that uses carbon fiber, which is lighter than metal but is sturdier. The XEEN CF supports large image sensors installed in the latest movie cameras and is compatible with PL, Sony E, and Canon EF mounts. It is also easily compatible with equipment such as drones and gimbals, enabling flexible equipment operation. Also, carbon fiber has been used for lightweight while maintaining durability, adding luxury through future-oriented design. [Main Features] Carbon Fiber - Compact & Flexible By applying carbon fiber, which is lighter than metal but solid and beautiful, to the lens body tube, it remains lightweight while maintaining durability. It is designed to be small and light so it can be mounted on numerous cameras and used more flexibly in a variety of environments. 8K & Cinematic look It has an outstanding resolution supporting a large image sensor and 8K. Additionally, it offers beautiful bokeh with a T2.2 aperture and maximizes the delicate emotions of people while richly depicting the shot. X-Coating Applying our proprietary X-coating technology, it effectively controls the reflection of light inside and within the lens itself to create a distinctive look. Properly utilizing flares and ghosting, you can create dramatic effects. Outstanding Usability The front aperture(95mm), focus, and aperture ring gear positions are unified, making it easy and convenient to attach and detach lens accessories such as matt box and follow focus. In addition, the ultra-bright luminous font allows for convenient use in dark environments.
