Cine Auto-Focus Lens, New Addition to V-AF Series Compact and Lightweight Cine Autofocus Lens: V-AF 100mm T2.3 FE On December 7, 2023, optical specialist company Samyang Optics officially releases a new model in its V-AF series of compact and lightweight cine autofocus lenses, the V-AF 100mm T2.3 FE. The V-AF series currently includes lenses with focal lengths of 24mm, 35mm, 45mm, and 75mm, all with a fast T1.9 aperture, providing a diverse lineup for shooting in various scenarios, now extending up to 100mm. Additionally, Samyang will introduce the 20mm T1.9 lens in the first half of the coming year. 
Launched for the first time in 2022, the V-AF series lenses combine essential characteristics of modern cinema lenses with a compact size and convenient features, catering to both solo content creators and professional filmmakers.
V-AF 100mm T2.3 FE The compact and lightweight V-AF 100mm T2.3 FE lens enables distortion-free image capture, offering an ideal perspective for impressive portrait photography and video shooting with the beautiful background blur of its bright T2.3 aperture. Supporting up to 8K resolution, these lenses provide consistent color reproduction across various focal lengths, reducing post-processing time. Despite being slightly longer than other lenses in the series, the lens maintains a form factor of 280g, ensuring convenience during lens changes in gimbal/drone environments. Moreover, the distinct maximum aperture of T1.9(100mm T2.3) delivers sharp images in low-light conditions and shallow depth of field, suitable for indoor and nighttime shooting. The announcement of the 100mm T2.3 FE lens holds significance as it is compatible with the upcoming V-AF dedicated accessory, the anamorphic adapter, enhancing the professional video shooting experience. Compatible lenses within the V-AF series for the anamorphic adapter include the V-AF 35mm T1.9 FE, 45mm T1.9 FE, and 75mm T1.9 FE.
